Metro53 - GUJRAT: A ceremony was held at Government Elementary School Chakori Bakhho, Kunjah centre, to recognise the outstanding performance of students and teachers in both academics and sports. Officials from the education department, members of the School Management Committee, parents and local dignitaries attended the event.
The ceremony aimed to appreciate achievements during the 2025–26 academic session, particularly in the annual district sports competitions where students secured top six positions in multiple events, including long jump, high jump, races, cricket, volleyball and tug of war.
Headmaster Chaudhry Mohammad Boota Toor, with the support of the School Management Committee, distributed cash prizes and medals among the successful students. Shields and medals were also awarded to eighth-grade students who passed their board examinations.
Speaking on the occasion, the headmaster praised the dedication of the teaching staff, noting that their efforts resulted in a 100 per cent pass rate and notable success in sports across the district. Teachers were also presented with shields in recognition of their services.
District Education Officer Chaudhry Mohammad Farooq, AGIGA Punjab Chairman Chaudhry Mohammad Yaseen Waraich, SMC member Chaudhry Mohammad Nawaz Waraich Advocate and other guests commended the headmaster and his team for their commitment and performance.
In his concluding remarks, Mr Toor said the school’s mission was to provide a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where students could develop strong academic foundations, creativity and confidence to become responsible and ethical citizens.
