Metro53 - Gujrat (Web Desk): Rescue 1122 received a report at 11:51 PM of a fire breaking out in a residential house near Service Factory on Rehman Shaheed Road. According to the caller, the fire erupted in the home due to unknown reasons.
Upon receiving the alert, the Rescue Control Room immediately dispatched emergency teams to the scene. A total of seven rescuers and four emergency vehicles participated in the operation.
The Rescue 1122 team began firefighting upon arrival and, using professional expertise, quickly brought the blaze under control. Initial investigations indicate that the fire was caused by a gas leak in one of the rooms, which escalated rapidly.
During the incident, one person, Arib Ali, son of Sadaqat Ali, approximately 35 years old, resident of Shadman Colony, Gujrat, was affected by the fire. He was given immediate first aid on site and then transferred to Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Hospital for further treatment.
Rescue 1122 advised citizens to exercise caution when using gas appliances and cylinders, to avoid operating electrical switches in case of a gas leak, and to immediately inform the relevant authorities to prevent loss of life and property.
Officials said that timely reporting and prompt action prevented significant casualties and property damage.
