Metro53 - Gujrat (Web Desk): On the directives of DPO Gujrat Rana Umar Farooq, police carried out an operation against kite selling under the supervision of DSP Saraye Alamgir Circle Dr. Mumtaz Ahmed Mekan.
SHO Bolani Police Station Muhammad Ansar Sahi, along with ASI Sibtain Zafar, In-charge Rahmanpur Checkpost, and their police team, conducted a raid and arrested kite seller Zain Javed son of Javed Iqbal, resident of Bhago Shahpur. Police recovered 12 kites from the possession of the accused.
According to police officials, a case has been registered against the arrested suspect and an investigation has been initiated.
Speaking on the occasion, DPO Gujrat Rana Umar Farooq stated that kite flying and kite selling are life-threatening activities that pose serious risks to valuable human lives. He urged parents to keep their children away from this dangerous practice.
