PML-N MPA Injured in Toba Tek Singh Attack, Four Killed

Metro53 - TOBA TEK SINGH: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Member of the Provincial Assembly, retired Colonel Sardar Ayub Gadhi, was injured in a gun attack at his dera in Chak 184-GB, Toba Tek Singh, on Sunday night, police said.

According to Regional Police Officer Suhail Akhtar Sukhera, unidentified attackers opened fire while the lawmaker was present at the location.

Police said four people — Zaigham Abbas, Nadeem, Haq Nawaz and Khaliq Dad — were killed in the firing. Sardar Ayub Gadhi, along with two other individuals identified as Shehbaz and Riaz, sustained serious injuries.

The injured were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Toba Tek Singh for medical treatment.

Law enforcement officials said evidence was being collected from the crime scene, while teams from the Punjab Forensic Science Agency had also joined the investigation.

Police have formed special teams to arrest those involved. Officials said all available resources were being used to trace and apprehend the suspects.
