Metro53 - GUJRAT: A speech delivered by Madad Ali Shah in the Punjab Assembly drew attention on social media after the lawmaker praised the capabilities of the Pakistan Army and spoke about the country’s defence preparedness.
During the assembly session, the MPA said Pakistan had strengthened its defence capabilities despite limited resources and developed weapons systems capable of responding to hostile threats.
Referring to India as a “cunning enemy,” he said Pakistan possessed the ability to target adversaries while remaining within its own territory and maintained a strong defence posture.
Mr Shah also paid tribute to Syed Asim Munir, saying the military leadership was widely respected and admired by the public, particularly the youth.
Video clips of the speech have since circulated widely on social media platforms, where users expressed mixed reactions to the remarks.
