Metro53 - Lahore: The Punjab government has restored regular market operating hours following the conclusion of Eid holidays, reintroducing restrictions under its energy conservation campaign.
According to reports, the temporary relaxation in business timings granted during Eid-ul-Adha festivities remained effective only until June 1.
From June 2, markets and restaurants across Punjab will resume operating under the previously notified schedule. As part of the energy-saving measures, markets will be required to close at 8:00 pm.
The timing restrictions are being reinstated as the provincial government continues its efforts to reduce energy consumption through the ongoing conservation initiative.
Authorities have directed traders and business owners to comply with the revised schedule from Monday onward.
