Metro53 - A tragic incident occurred in Dhera, an area of Police Station Domeli in Tehsil Sohawa, Jhelum, where Police Inspector Raja Zahoor was shot dead.
The incident took place in the Domeli area, where the deceased inspector was allegedly targeted by his cousin over an old dispute. After the shooting, the suspect fled the scene.
According to police officials, special teams have been formed to search for the suspect, who will be arrested and brought to justice soon.
It is worth mentioning that killings of police officers due to personal enmities are becoming a serious challenge for security institutions. The incident has caused a wave of grief and anger within law enforcement agencies and concern among the public.
The deceased Raja Zahoor was serving as an investigation officer at Police Station Mangla at the time of the incident. Upon receiving the report, a heavy police contingent from Domeli reached the scene, while the crime scene unit began collecting evidence. The body has been shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Sohawa for post-mortem.
