Metro53 - Madrid (Web Desk) — Spain reclaimed the Women’s Nations League title with an emphatic 3–0 victory over Germany in the second leg of the final played in Madrid.
The first leg, held in Kaiserslautern, Germany, had ended goalless, despite Germany’s aggressive play and several missed opportunities—mistakes that proved costly in the decisive match.
In Madrid, Spain took control from the outset, maintaining sustained pressure throughout the game. German goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger made several crucial saves to deny Spain an early lead.
The breakthrough finally came in the 61st minute when Claudia Pina scored to put Spain ahead. Seven minutes later, Vicky López doubled the lead, and in the 74th minute, Pina struck again to make it 3–0— a scoreline that remained unchanged until the final whistle.
With the dominant performance, Spain secured the Women’s Nations League title once again.
