Metro53 - New Delhi: Four cricketers in India have been suspended over allegations of corruption.
According to Cricinfo, the Assam Cricket Association (ACA) on Friday suspended Amit Sinha, Ishan Ahmed, Aman Tripathi, and Abhishek Thakuri for allegedly engaging in suspicious activities during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025.
The ACA has also filed an FIR with the Crime Branch of the state police against the four players, who have represented Assam in various competitions.
The players are accused of attempting to involve other Assam players participating in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in suspicious activities.
During their suspension, the players are barred from participating in any state-level tournaments or matches organised by the ACA, its district units, or affiliated clubs.
