Social media platforms have been flooded with claims suggesting that the legendary singer had passed away, creating confusion and concern among fans. Responding to the rumors, Abida Parveen’s daughter clarified that all such reports are incorrect and that her mother is completely safe and in good health.
She explained that the misunderstanding occurred after the death of a woman named Abida Parveen in Lahore’s Dilgaran Chowk area. Due to the similarity in names, people mistakenly assumed that the famous Sufi singer had died.
The singer’s daughter emphasized that her mother is healthy and doing well, adding that false and unverified information is being spread on social media, which is misleading the public. She urged people to avoid sharing rumors without confirmation.
