Metro53 - Lahore: YouTubers Rajab Butt and Nadeem Mubarak, also known as Nani Wala, have approached the court seeking bail in cases related to the promotion of online gambling.
Both YouTubers have filed interim bail applications in the Lahore Sessions Court. The bail pleas were submitted through their counsel, Barrister Mian Ali Ashfaq.
Rajab Butt has filed a bail application in one case, while Nadeem Mubarak has sought bail in two cases registered by the NCCIA.
Petitioner Nadeem Mubarak has maintained that the cases registered by the NCCIA are baseless. The petitioners have requested the court to grant them protection from arrest, stating that they are ready to cooperate with the investigation.
