Metro53 - Gujrat (Web Desk):Acting on the directives of District Police Officer Gujrat, Rana Umar Farooq, police across the district are continuing operations against criminal elements. As part of this drive, Galyana Police carried out an effective operation and arrested two liquor sellers.
According to police, the arrested suspects were identified as Qamar Shehzad and Qaiser Shehzad. A total of 20 liters of liquor was recovered from their possession, with 10 liters seized separately from each suspect.
Police have taken the recovered liquor into custody and registered separate cases against both accused under the relevant sections of the law. Further investigation is currently underway.
A spokesperson for Gujrat Police stated that indiscriminate action against criminal elements will continue to ensure a safe environment for citizens.
