Metro53 - Gujrat (Web Desk) – Kharian Police Circle has continued its operations against drug dealers and individuals possessing illegal weapons. During multiple operations, police arrested eight suspects and recovered drugs and weapons worth millions of rupees from their possession.
The recovered items include more than one kilogram of ice (crystal meth), over one kilogram of hashish, 67 liters of liquor, and a 30-bore pistol.
Acting on the directions of DPO Gujrat Rana Umar Farooq, police teams carried out raids in various areas. Under the supervision of DSP Kharian Circle Shahid Mahmood, the SHO of Gulyana Police Station arrested a notorious drug dealer, Imran Zareef, and recovered five liters of liquor from his possession. Similarly, the SHO of Saddar Kharian Police Station arrested Ali Raza and Adnan and seized 12 liters of liquor.
Under the supervision of DSP Saddar Circle Rai Sarfaraz Yousaf, the SHO of City Jalalpur Jattan Police Station arrested Inaamullah and Muhammad Ali alias Danish. Police recovered more than one kilogram of ice, 1,270 grams of hashish, and weighing equipment from them.
Meanwhile, under the supervision of DSP Sarai Alamgir Circle Dr. Mumtaz Ahmed Maken, the SHO of City Sarai Alamgir Police Station recovered 40 liters of liquor from Ijaz Masih and seized a 30-bore pistol from Muhammad Nabeel.
Similarly, on the directions of DSP Lalamusa Ahsan Zafar Sandhu, the SHO of City Lalamusa Police Station arrested liquor supplier Rustam Abbas and recovered 10 liters of liquor.
Separate cases have been registered against all the arrested suspects, and further investigations are underway.
