Metro53 - Washington (Web Desk) – Venezuela’s Vice President Delcy Rodríguez has assumed presidential responsibilities following a court order.

In a press conference, Rodríguez expressed her disagreement with a statement made by the U.S. President. Immediately after taking charge, she called for the release of Nicolás Maduro, stating that the rightful President of Venezuela is currently being held in the United States.

She further emphasized that Venezuela will not become a colony of any nation and reaffirmed her commitment to defending the country and its natural resources. Rodríguez urged citizens to remain patient and united in protecting the nation.
