Metro53 - Dhaka (Web Desk) – Indian Hindu extremism has now affected cricket, as Bangladesh announced that its national team will not travel to India for the 2026 T20 World Cup.
Bangladeshi Sports Adviser Dr. Asif Nazrul Islam stated that the team will not go to India for the tournament. He emphasized that there is no longer any justification for sending players to India, as the country appears unable to ensure their security.
Bangladesh has formally requested that its World Cup matches be relocated from India to Sri Lanka.
