Metro53 - New York (Web Desk) – Elon Musk, founder of Starlink and Tesla, has announced that his company will provide free internet service in Venezuela for a limited period.
Starlink, owned by SpaceX, will offer broadband internet free of charge to Venezuelans to help them stay connected. The free service is scheduled to be available until February 3, 2026.
Musk shared a brief message on X (formerly Twitter), expressing support for the people of Venezuela. This initiative is seen in the context of recent political and security instability in the country.
The move will use Starlink’s satellite network to maintain internet access in Venezuela despite ongoing challenges.
