Metro53 - Gujrat (Web Desk): Assistant Commissioner Gujrat, Abdul Qadeer Zarkoon, conducted a raid at D. Watson Mega Store located on Bhimber Road and sealed the outlet after reports of expired juice being sold.
During the operation, Assistant Commissioner Abdul Qadeer Zarkoon sought an explanation from the store’s owners and staff and ordered the immediate sealing of the shop for violating relevant laws. He stated that the sale of substandard or expired food items would not be tolerated under any circumstances, as public health and quality of life remain top priorities.
The Assistant Commissioner further emphasized that the Gujrat district administration will continue regular raids and monitoring to ensure the safety and well-being of citizens, warning that strict action will be taken against those found violating regulations.
According to sources, following the sealing of D. Watson Mega Store, the concerned authorities have initiated further investigations to ensure that only safe and quality products are made available to the public.
