Gujrat Police Crack Down on Kite Sellers, One Arrested with Six Kites

Metro53 - Gujrat (Web Desk): Gujrat Police have continued their district-wide crackdown against kite sellers, flyers, and manufacturers, carrying out an operation under the jurisdiction of City Police Station Sarai Alamgir. During the action, one suspect was arrested and six kites were recovered from his possession.

Operation Details
According to police sources, the crackdown is being conducted on the instructions of DPO Gujrat Rana Umar Farooq to ensure the protection of life and property of the public across the district.

Under the supervision of DSP Sarai Alamgir Circle Dr. Mumtaz Ahmed Maken, SHO City Police Station Sarai Alamgir Raheel Arif, along with SAI Syed Qamar Raza and their team, were patrolling the area when they arrested a kite seller identified as Abdus Saboor son of Muhammad Tufail, caste Mughal, resident of Zaildar Chowk, Sarai Alamgir. Six kites were recovered from the accused during the operation.

Police have registered a case against the suspect and initiated further investigation.

Warning for Parents and the Public
Police officials have warned the public that kite flying and selling is a life-threatening activity that can endanger both children and adults. Parents have been urged to keep their children away from such activities to prevent accidents and loss of life.

DPO Gujrat emphasized that indiscriminate action will be taken against those violating the law and urged citizens to cooperate with police in fulfilling their civic responsibilities.
