Metro53 - Gujrat: Acting on the directives of DPO Gujrat Rana Umar Farooq to completely eliminate crime across the district, police carried out multiple operations in Sara-e-Alamgir. The actions were conducted under the supervision of DSP Sara-e-Alamgir Circle Dr. Mumtaz Ahmed Maken.
SHO Police Station Bolani, Sub-Inspector Ghulam Rasool, along with his police team, arrested three accused during different operations. From the arrested suspects, 1420 grams of charas were recovered from Tariq Hashmi, 10 liters of liquor from Shiraz, and five kites from Abdul Rehman.
Similarly, SHO Police Station City Sara-e-Alamgir, Raheel Arif, along with his police team, conducted an operation and arrested drug dealer Yasir Altaf. Police recovered 1360 grams of charas from his possession.
Separate cases have been registered against all the arrested accused, and further investigation is underway.
