Metro53 - Islamabad (Web Desk):Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Suhail Afridi, has announced the formation of a “Release Force” for the freedom of PTI founder Imran Khan, stating that he has been assigned the responsibility of leading a street movement by Imran Khan himself.
Talking to the media outside the Supreme Court of Pakistan in Islamabad, Suhail Afridi said that the PTI founder’s Release Force would carry out a peaceful struggle and would be formally registered.
He said that immediately after Eid, members of the force would take an oath in Peshawar. He added that the force would have a clear chain of command, and whoever is assigned responsibility by the PTI founder will lead the force.
Suhail Afridi further stated that preparations would be completed first, followed by the struggle, which he said would be for democracy, the supremacy of the Constitution, and a free media.
The Chief Minister also alleged that court orders are being “thrown into the dustbin” and that even access to personal doctors is being denied.
