PM Orders Dismissal of Pakistan Hockey Team Management After Inquiry

Metro53 - Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has decided to dismiss the management of the Pakistan national hockey team.

According to details, an inquiry committee of the Pakistan Sports Board has submitted its report regarding complaints of substandard accommodation and food facilities provided to Pakistani hockey players during their tour of Australia.

Following the allegations raised by the players, Director General of the Pakistan Sports Board Yasir Pirzada ordered an inquiry into the matter. The inquiry committee was headed by Chief Financial Officer Hasnat Ahmed, while Saeed Ahmed Chaudhry and Rana Nasrullah served as members.

The committee completed the inquiry within a single day and forwarded its report to the Director General of the Pakistan Sports Board.

In light of the inquiry report, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has decided to remove the President of the Pakistan Hockey Federation, Mir Tariq Bugti, General Secretary Rana Mujahid, along with the entire team management.
