Metro53 - Lahore (Web Desk): Senior leader of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) and former federal minister Khawaja Saad Rafique was shifted to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology after suffering a heart attack.
According to details, Khawaja Saad Rafique was immediately brought to the emergency department of the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) following the cardiac episode. After initial examination and medical tests, doctors decided to perform an emergency angioplasty.
The medical team inserted a stent into one of his arteries. Hospital authorities stated that due to timely treatment, his condition is now out of danger and showing signs of improvement.
Doctors have said that Khawaja Saad Rafique will remain under medical observation for the next few days. Meanwhile, family members and party leaders have appealed for prayers for his speedy recovery.
