Metro53 - Gujrat (Web Desk): The sealing of the Jalalpur Jattan Press Club despite a stay order issued by the High Court has been termed an unfortunate and condemnable act.
Condemning the move, Chaudhry Ali Waraich and Chaudhry Ausaf Ali Waraich stated that sealing the press club in defiance of a court order is not only a violation of the law but also a direct attack on press freedom. They emphasized that journalism is the eye and voice of society, and any attempt to suppress it goes against democratic values.
They demanded that the press club be reopened immediately and that legal action be taken against those responsible. The leaders reaffirmed their solidarity with the journalist community, stating that they will continue to raise the voice for truth and justice at every forum.
