Two Suspects Killed by Accomplices’ Fire During Police Encounter in Mandi Bahauddin

Metro53 - Mandi Bahauddin (Web Desk): An alleged police encounter took place within the limits of Civil Lines Police Station, resulting in the death of two suspects, identified as Zubair Akram and Abid Hussain, who were reportedly killed by firing from their own accomplices.

According to police, the suspects were being taken for the recovery of ransom money when the incident occurred. The deceased were involved in the kidnapping of a gold trader from Sufi City. After looting him, they allegedly murdered the trader, placed his body in a sack, and dumped it into a drain. The suspects had also received Rs 2.5 million from the victim’s family for the identification of the body.

Police stated that Rs 900,000 in cash and the weapon used in an attempted murder case had already been recovered from the suspects. They were being taken for the recovery of the remaining amount when their accomplices opened fire, killing both suspects.
