Metro53 - Lalamusa (Web Desk) — A mega development project under the Punjab Development Program, with an estimated cost of Rs. 585–587 million, was formally inaugurated in Lalamusa by Member of the National Assembly Chaudhry Nasir Ahmed Abbas Sidhu.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Assistant Commissioner Kharian Ahmed Sher Gondal, Chief Officer Municipal Committee Lalamusa Chaudhry Tanveer Gujar, Assistant Director PMU Azhar Khalid, and Engineer Raja Saqib from NESPAK, who accompanied the MNA during the event.
Government officials appreciated the efforts of Chaudhry Nasir Ahmed Abbas Sidhu for securing approval of the project, terming it a significant step toward the development of the area.
Prominent local figures and political representatives present on the occasion included Chaudhry Afzal Gujar Dewana, Chaudhry Faisal Dewana, Sajad Butt (President PML-N Lalamusa), Saif-ur-Rehman Bhatti, Seth Tufail (Municipal Coordinator), Naim Butt, Chaudhry Naim Ashraf, Chaudhry Arshad Tent Service, Sheikh Rashid (WAPDA Coordinator), Nisar Butt (Deputy Coordinator Sui Gas), Munsef Dad, Seth Rafiq, Ramzan Butt, Hamza Tarrar, Seth Umar Saif, Seth Saif Yaqub, Sheikh Majid Naveed, Sheikh Amjad, Jafar Butt, Dr. Younas Faheem, Agha Irfan, Chaudhry Tanveer Khariyan, Chaudhry Ghazanfar Kalas, Mian Kamran Idrees, Chaudhry Naim Chak Pindi, Chaudhry Sajjawal Smaila, Chaudhry Hassan Syeda Bahram, Chaudhry Iqbal Chak Ikhlas, Chaudhry Shabbir Gondal Chakori Sher Ghazi, Chaudhry Mudassar Paswal Ali Chak, Chaudhry Zafar Shah Sarmast, Chaudhry Ishfaq Gakhri, along with a large number of party workers and local residents.
The participants expressed hope that the project would bring visible improvement in infrastructure and civic facilities, contributing to the overall development of Lalamusa.
