Metro53 - Washington (Web Desk) – The United States suffered losses of nearly $3.7 billion during the first 100 hours of the war with Iran.
According to a report by the Washington DC–based think tank Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), the costs of the war were not included in the current budget, and at some stage the U.S. Department of Defense will require additional funding.
The CSIS report stated that the United States shifting toward low-cost munitions could help reduce the overall price of ammunition.
According to the report, covering the costs of the conflict solely through the existing budget may prove politically and practically difficult.
