Petrol & Diesel Prices Likely to Rise by Rs30–50 per Liter in Pakistan

Metro53 - Pakistan (Web Desk) – Due to escalating tensions in the Middle East, petrol and diesel prices in Pakistan are expected to increase by Rs30 to Rs50 per liter.

Sources indicate that the new prices will likely come into effect from tonight at 12 AM.

A meeting on petroleum products was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, reviewing the country’s existing fuel reserves and the rise in global prices.

According to the meeting’s statement, the Ministry of Petroleum’s recommendations regarding price adjustments were discussed, and the new rates for petroleum products will be implemented from midnight.

The meeting was attended by the Finance Minister, Petroleum Minister, Commerce Minister, and other senior officials, with OGRA, PARCO, and related departments providing a briefing on the country’s petroleum reserves.
