He said he is grateful to the Chief Minister of Punjab for providing funds for the city’s development and added that under the leadership of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, the map of Gujrat will be transformed. He described the under-construction drainage center in Madina Syedan as an important and valuable project for the people of the area.
Chaudhry Shafay Hussain said that during the previous floods, the city was affected by the flow of water coming from Kashmir, while some miscreants also attempted to damage the embankment. He said precautionary measures are being taken to deal with any possible flood situation in the future and urged the public to keep a close watch on such elements.
The provincial minister said that public monitoring is very important for the timely, quality, and transparent completion of development projects. He also announced that a sports ground will be established in Madina Syedan and that he will discuss the matter with the provincial sports minister.
He further stated that the Gujrat Railway Station will be improved. In this regard, talks have already been held with railway authorities, after which better facilities will be provided to passengers.
During the visit, Pakistan Muslim League Gujrat City President Ali Abad Jora, party workers, and relevant officials were also present, while citizens expressed gratitude to Chaudhry Shafay Hussain for the completion of development projects worth millions of rupees.
