Metro53 - London (Web Desk) – According to British media reports, Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei was allegedly injured during airstrikes and secretly transferred to Moscow, Russia, for surgery. His leg reportedly underwent a successful operation.

The reports state that Mojtaba Khamenei was injured on February 28 during U.S.-Israeli airstrikes on Tehran, which also killed former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump commented that he was unsure whether Mojtaba Khamenei was alive, adding that if he is alive, he should make wise decisions for his country and surrender his weapons.

According to a Kuwaiti newspaper, Mojtaba Khamenei was secretly transported to Moscow on a Russian military aircraft and treated in a facility provided by Russian President Vladimir Putin, who allegedly offered the treatment during a phone call.

Reports suggest the severity of the injury required treatment in a specialized hospital, and the information comes from a high-level source close to the new Iranian Supreme Leader.

The surgery is claimed to have been successful, and the transfer reportedly took place on the same evening as the injury.
