Metro53 - Lahore (Web Desk) – The spokesperson for the Sharif family has dismissed reports claiming that Junaid Safdar traveled to Vienna, stating that he is currently at his home in Raiwind with his wife.
The statement emphasized that false news about Junaid Safdar going abroad is being spread by certain circles and holds no truth. The spokesperson also warned that the family reserves the right to take legal action against those spreading fabricated stories.
Meanwhile, Punjab Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb also addressed similar rumors regarding the use of government aircraft, calling them baseless. She stated that the Punjab government will approach the court to counter this campaign.
Maryam Aurangzeb further noted that anyone involved in spreading these false stories will face action under the Defamation Law 2024, and the government will seek maximum legal penalties in accordance with the law.
