Metro53 - Srinagar (Web Desk) – In Indian-administered Kashmir, citizens expressed solidarity with Iran amid ongoing US and Israeli strikes by making large-scale donations.
According to foreign media reports, people gathered at Khomeini Chowk in Srinagar, where they donated gold, silver, and cash to show support for Iran.
Reports further stated that citizens also donated cars, motorcycles, copper utensils, and even plots of land.
In Budgam and other Muslim-majority areas, donation camps were set up outside mosques. At these stalls, people contributed jewelry, cash, copper items, and even livestock.
A resident from Budgam said that a donation stall was established outside Masjid Imam Zaman with sincere intentions. He added that women from the community were actively contributing jewelry, copper, and cash to support Iran during the current situation.
