Metro53 - GUJRAT (Web Desk): The police carried out a series of operations during Eidul Fitr to maintain law and order and ensure public safety across the district.
Under the command of District Police Officer Rana Umar Farooq, strict action was taken against kite flying, one-wheeling and over-speeding.
According to official figures, six cases were registered and six suspects were arrested for violations of the Kite Flying Act. During the کارروائی, police also seized 282 kites and 31 metallic strings.
In a separate crackdown on one-wheeling and over-speeding, seven cases were registered, 18 individuals were taken into custody, and 10 motorcycles were impounded.
The DPO stated that protection of citizens’ lives and property remained the پولیس’s top priority, adding that violators of the law would be dealt with strictly.
He also urged parents to closely monitor their children and discourage them from engaging in dangerous and illegal activities.
Police officials reiterated that indiscriminate action against kite flying, one-wheeling and reckless driving would continue in the future.
