Metro53 - ISLAMABAD (Web Desk): Pakistan has decided to issue passports and other essential documents to its citizens residing illegally in Spain, Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain said.
According to details, the initiative aims to facilitate undocumented Pakistanis by providing them with legal identification, enabling them to regularise their stay and access basic services.
Mr Hussain stated that the move is part of the government’s broader efforts to support overseas Pakistanis and address their legal and administrative challenges.
Officials believe the decision will help thousands of پاکستانیوں currently facing difficulties due to lack of proper documentation, particularly in European countries such as Spain.
Further details regarding the implementation process and eligibility criteria are expected to be announced in due course.
