Metro53 - RAWALPINDI: Police have registered a case after a woman was allegedly gang-raped by four individuals in a moving vehicle on Chak Beli Road. The case was filed at Riwat Police Station at the instance of the victim’s mother.
According to the FIR, the victim had boarded a van to travel from her village to Riwat Bazaar. The van conductor reportedly locked the doors and diverted the vehicle toward Chak Beli Road, where four suspects allegedly assaulted her and recorded videos of the act.
The victim’s mother claimed that the plot also involved her daughter’s mother-in-law and sister-in-law. The suspects allegedly threatened the woman with death and warned that the videos would be circulated if she spoke out.
The FIR further stated that the local village council (Jirga) discouraged the family from taking legal action. Police have registered the case and initiated investigations against the accused.
