Metro53 - GUJRAT (Web Desk): A farewell ceremony was held at the DC Office Gujrat on the transfer of Assistant Commissioner Sara-e-Alamgir, Farooq Azam.
Deputy Commissioner Gujrat, Noor-ul-Ain, presented him with a shield and paid tribute to his services during his tenure, extending best wishes for his future responsibilities.
The ceremony was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General Revenue) Waqas Safdar, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Saba Sehar, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Finance and Planning) Zulfiqar Ahmed, Assistant Commissioner Gujrat Abdul Qadeer Zarkoon, and other officials.
It was highlighted that during his one-year tenure, Farooq Azam supervised key initiatives in Sara-e-Alamgir, including revenue recovery, restoration of parks, canal road beautification, sanitation improvements, tree plantation, and anti-encroachment operations.
