Metro53 - RAWALPINDI (Web Desk) – Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu said that during last year’s May operation “Bunyan-un-Marsoos,” Pakistan’s military capability and strategy were clearly demonstrated, leaving the enemy surprised by its strength and professionalism.
Addressing the passing-out parade at Pakistan Military Academy Kakul, he stated that Pakistan is a peaceful country and seeks resolution of all conflicts through dialogue and negotiations. He added that efforts by both political and military leadership for global peace are commendable.
The Air Chief said that during the May battle and “Marka-e-Haq,” the Pakistan Air Force displayed outstanding strategy and foiled enemy designs. According to him, the Air Force not only shot down enemy aircraft but also made history with its professional excellence.
He further praised the leadership of Asim Munir, stating that the efforts of the Pakistan Army under his command are also commendable. He reiterated that any aggression against Pakistan will be met with an immediate and strong response.
During the ceremony, the Air Chief reviewed the parade and distributed awards and shields among the best-performing cadets.
