Metro53 - Gujrat: The body of a woman who was abducted 10 days ago from Sardarpura area of Lala Musa has been recovered from fields, sparking deep concern in the locality.
According to the family, the victim had left home to buy items from a nearby shop when Arslan, a resident of Kharian, along with his accomplices, allegedly abducted her. The incident reportedly took place in front of her son.
Police acted swiftly and arrested the main suspect within a few days. According to police sources, the accused murdered the woman and buried her body in fields, which was later recovered.
Police say further interrogation of the accused is underway, while different aspects of the case are also being investigated to uncover the complete facts.
