Metro53 - ABBOTTABAD (Web Desk) — At least 11 people were killed and over 30 others sustained injuries in separate traffic accidents in Abbottabad and Darya Khan.
According to Rescue officials cited by Dunya News, a collision between a passenger bus and a dumper truck on the motorway near the Havelian Interchange in Abbottabad claimed seven lives and injured 30 others. The deceased included a woman and a child.
Officials stated that the victims belonged to Gilgit, and both the deceased and the injured were shifted to the hospital. The accident occurred after a tire of the passenger bus burst while it was en route from Gilgit to Rawalpindi.
In a separate incident in Darya Khan, a tractor-trolley overturned on Haitu Khasoor Road, resulting in four deaths—including two women and two children—and several injuries.
According to Rescue officials, the passengers aboard the tractor-trolley were traveling from Tank to Sargodha. The bodies and injured individuals have been shifted to the hospital.
