The Chinese delegation first visited renowned industrial units in Gujrat, including Royal Fan Gujrat and National Furniture. During the visit, the delegation was briefed on modern manufacturing processes, automation, product quality, designing, quality control, and export potential in global markets. The delegation appreciated the production capacity and international standards of the local industry.
Later, a detailed meeting was held at the Deputy Commissioner Office Gujrat, where the Chinese delegation met with the Deputy Commissioner Gujrat and district administration officers. The meeting included in-depth discussions on Gujrat’s historical significance, industrial profile, geographical location, and ongoing and upcoming development projects.
The Chinese delegation comprised Madam Hu (President, Hunan Chamber of Commerce and Industry), Mr. Fan (Representative, Hunan Enterprises), Mr. Shun (CEO, Hunan Enterprises), Madam Li (China Economic Corridor Project), and Dr. Imran (Director, PBIT Lahore). The delegation termed Pakistan, particularly Gujrat, as a favorable destination for industrial investment.
Deputy Commissioner Gujrat, Noor-ul-Ain, hosted a luncheon in honor of the delegation. On this occasion, the Chinese delegation expressed its commitment to signing a Sister District Agreement between Gujrat District and China’s Loudi District, which is expected to open new avenues for industrial, commercial, and technical cooperation in the future.
