Metro53 - Islamabad (Web Desk): In a major move against human smuggling, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has obtained 30 Interpol Red Notices against fugitive human smugglers involved in multiple cases.

According to officials, the Red Notices were issued by Interpol on the request of the FIA. The accused were operating human smuggling networks from Dubai, Libya, Egypt, and Qatar. This step has been taken to strengthen international action against human smuggling.

The FIA stated that international cooperation was utilized to identify the suspects, who have also been included in Interpol’s Red Book for legal proceedings. In addition, the FIA has established link offices in three countries—Muscat, Tehran, and Athens—to monitor and dismantle human smuggling networks more effectively.

Officials said these efforts aim to ensure the early arrest of absconding smugglers and to initiate legal action against them. The move is expected to help curb human smuggling crimes while ensuring protection and justice for affected individuals.

Following the issuance of the Red Notices, the FIA will continue to cooperate with law enforcement agencies of other countries to facilitate the arrest of the suspects and pursue further legal action.
