Metro53 - Islamabad (Web Desk) — Senator Faisal Vawda has claimed that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Suhail Afridi could soon be disqualified from office, stating that developments are “moving in a direction” that may result in action against the provincial chief executive.

Speaking to the media, Vawda warned that if the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) continues what he described as “spreading filth in politics,” the imposition of Governor’s Rule in KP could become a possibility. He added that relevant lists have already been prepared, and those issuing political statements from abroad would soon understand the consequences of their actions.

Commenting on the situation of the PTI chairman, Vawda asserted that Imran Khan’s political troubles were created by PTI’s own leadership, whose decisions had brought the party chief to this stage.

Vawda further claimed that Chief Minister Suhail Afridi would not be meeting PTI founder Imran Khan today.

Responding to the remarks, PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja said that preventing such a meeting would be a violation of constitutional norms. While not surprising, he said, such an action would indeed be regrettable.
