Metro53 - Kasur (Web Desk) – An Indian national was arrested for violating Pakistan’s border and entering Pakistani territory in Kasur. The incident occurred near Sahjrah in the jurisdiction of Ganda Singh Police Station along the Pak-India border.
According to sources, Nasir, a Pakistani Ranger, apprehended the Indian citizen Sharandeep Singh, son of Satnam Singh, who was attempting to cross into Pakistan. The arrested individual is reportedly from Poyi Pur, Shahkot Tehsil, Jalandhar District, India.
After initial proceedings, the Rangers handed the suspect over to Ganda Singh Police Station for further legal action, where investigations are ongoing.
Officials stated that the purpose of the Indian national’s entry into Pakistan remains unclear. During the investigation, authorities are examining whether the border crossing was accidental, due to getting lost, or linked to smuggling, espionage, or other intentions.
Security agencies are probing all angles, and legal proceedings are being conducted according to due process. Authorities emphasized that the true facts will emerge only after the investigation is complete.
