Metro53 - Islamabad (Web Desk) – Authorities have arrested four facilitators in connection with the suicide blast in Islamabad. The arrests were made following raids in Peshawar and Nowshera, conducted by intelligence and law enforcement agencies.
Security sources stated that both technical and human intelligence were utilized in the operations, which led to the capture of the four suspects linked to the suicide attacker. Among those arrested is the Afghan mastermind behind the attack, believed to be affiliated with ISIS.
The blast occurred inside a mosque and imambargah in the federal capital, killing 33 people and injuring over 170. The attacker reportedly detonated explosives at the entrance gate after being prevented from entering during Friday prayers.
