Metro53 - LAHORE (Web Desk): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former MNA Captain (retd.) Safdar Awan has spoken about his son Junaid Safdar’s future and educational plans, saying that his focus is on contributing to the education sector rather than pursuing politics.
Speaking during a podcast hosted by Farrukh Shahbaz Waraich, Captain Safdar said Junaid Safdar was working on a plan to establish an international-standard university.
He compared the proposed initiative with the educational services of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, saying that establishing educational institutions for the younger generation could be a more lasting contribution to society.
Captain Safdar said the plan includes establishing a university in Mansehra, along with working on other related projects.
He added that, in his view, the most important things parents can provide their children are lawful earnings, education and an opportunity to play a positive role in society.
Captain Safdar also clarified that he does not want to push his children into politics. Instead, he said they should pursue their futures according to their own interests, abilities and choices.
