KP CM Announces Rs100 Billion Development Package for Peshawar, Including 5,000-Bed Medical Complex

Metro53 - Peshawar (Web Desk) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohaib Afridi has announced a development package worth Rs100 billion for the provincial capital, which includes the establishment of a 5,000-bed medical complex.

Addressing a major Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally in Peshawar, he said that opponents repeatedly claim there is no governance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, yet the people of the province have expressed confidence in Imran Khan for the third consecutive time. He stated, “I am a falcon; I must keep my flight high and not fight crows.”

Sohaib Afridi strongly criticized the law and order situation, saying that despite 21 years of continuous operations and drone strikes, no results were achieved. “This is Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, not anyone’s laboratory. If a policy has not worked for 21 years, then it must be changed. Policies will be made by elected representatives, and those policies will prevail,” he said.

The Chief Minister told the rally participants that the desire for a D-Chowk gathering would soon be fulfilled. Addressing Allama Raja Nasir Abbas and Mahmood Khan Achakzai, he said that Imran Khan had entrusted them with historic responsibilities, and the nation stands ready on the leadership’s call.

In his speech, Sohaib Afridi also reacted strongly to attempts at implementing a “minus formula” against Imran Khan, saying, “Who are you to minus Imran Khan? Imran Khan is the guarantee of national unity. Even those whose boots you polish bow down and salute Imran Khan.”
