Metro53 - Kohat: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Soheil Khan Afridi, while addressing a public gathering in Kohat, declared that if they march towards D-Chowk again, they will either return with freedom or in coffins.
Stance on Party Founder and Judiciary
The Chief Minister said that attempts are being made to suppress the party founder. He claimed that meetings with the judiciary are not being allowed and alleged that those who were meant to protect the public mandate are now looting it. He further stated that “our protectors have turned into our killers.”
Protest and Preparedness
Soheil Khan Afridi criticized individuals who, according to him, threaten gunfire through the media at night. He said that Imran Khan has entrusted the responsibility of protests or negotiations to Mehmood Achakzai and Allama Nasir Abbas. He urged party workers to remain fully prepared whenever a call is given.
Criticism of Federal Government
The Chief Minister strongly criticized the federal government, alleging corruption worth Rs 5,300 billion. He said the country’s debt has reached Rs 80,000 billion, adding that those who claim to offer governance advice have drowned Pakistan in debt. He emphasized that people must unite and take action to achieve real freedom.
Criticism of Punjab Chief Minister and Investment Claims
Soheil Khan Afridi also criticized the Punjab Chief Minister, stating that “mandate thieves who cannot even understand ‘K’ and ‘Q’ are giving us advice.” He alleged that the Punjab Police has become the most corrupt institution in Pakistan.
He further claimed that investment is increasing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while it has declined in Punjab, yet, he said, unnecessary advice continues to be given to his province.
