Metro53 - Gujrat: Police at Rahmania Police Station have arrested a mother-son duo involved in selling drugs in educational institutions, recovering a large quantity of heroin and other contraband.
Under the supervision of DSP Lala Musa Circle Chaudhry Ehsan Zafar Sandhu, and following instructions from DPO Gujrat Rana Umar Farooq, SHO Rahmania Inspector Usman Waris led a team to apprehend the notorious duo, including a woman.
Authorities recovered over 2 kilograms of heroin worth millions of rupees, Rs6,000 in cash, and a 30-bore pistol from the suspects’ possession. The arrested individuals have been identified as Zahra Bibi, also known as Zahri, and Usman Jamil.
During initial interrogation, the suspects admitted to selling drugs in various educational institutions. Police have registered a case and launched further investigations.
