Metro53 - Lahore: The air quality in various cities across the country has been declared extremely hazardous. With an air particulate matter reading of 337, Lahore has ranked second among the world’s most polluted cities.
According to an international environmental website, Karachi recorded an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 207, placing it third among the world’s most polluted cities.
As per the Punjab Environment Department’s website, Narowal is the most polluted city in Punjab with an air particulate matter level of 305.
The AQI of Hafizabad was recorded at 256, Chakwal at 251, and Gujranwala at 244.
