Metro53 - Gujrat (Web Desk):Under the vision of Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the process of departmental promotions for police personnel continues, under which nine constables of Gujrat Police have been promoted to the rank of Head Constable. 

A dignified ceremony was held at Police Lines Gujrat in honor of the promoted officers. DPO Gujrat Rana Umar Farooq and DSP Headquarters Naim Iqbal Gujar attended the event as special guests. Family members of the promoted officers were also invited, adding to the joy and significance of the ceremony.

The promoted officials include Muhammad Shahid Asif, Muhammad Javed Akhtar, Usman Arif, Aamir Abbas, Kaleemullah, Muhammad Nadeem, Qadeer Ahmad, Muhammad Saleem, and Hasnain Nasir. The DPO and DSP Headquarters formally pinned badges on the officers, congratulated them, and extended best wishes for their future.

Addressing the ceremony, DPO Rana Umar Farooq stated that promotion is a significant milestone in a police officer’s career and is achieved through hard work, honesty, and dedication to duty. He expressed hope that the promoted officers would perform their responsibilities with even greater commitment and integrity to enhance the dignity of the police force and strengthen public trust.

He further added that Gujrat Police will continue to fulfill its duties with professionalism, discipline, and a strong commitment to public service.
