Metro53 - Islamabad (Web Desk) — Senior PML-N leader and Prime Minister’s Adviser on Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, said the DG ISPR delivered a clear and categorical message in his press conference.
Speaking to a private TV channel, Rana Sanaullah said that the possibility of a treason case against the PTI founder cannot be ruled out.
He added that a clear message had been conveyed to PTI, warning that if they take it lightly, they will suffer the consequences. He said the government has endorsed the DG ISPR’s statement.
Rana Sanaullah stated that the narrative promoted by the terrorists involved in the Jaffar Express attack was echoed simultaneously by India, Afghanistan, and PTI’s media.
The adviser said that after the PTI founder’s meeting with his sister, the tweet and the language used made the situation clear. He reiterated that a treason case against the PTI founder cannot be ruled out.
He added that the statements made in the recent rally will be met with a powerful response. He said those engaging in such actions are heading toward their fate, which will be no different from MQM and its founder.
Rana Sanaullah said that soon the situation may resemble “Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Adiala Tehreek-e-Insaf,” as the majority of PTI will not be part of this “madness.” He questioned where MQM London and its founder stand today.
He further said that the PTI founder’s sister had assured jail authorities before the meeting that no statement would be given to the media. He claimed that during the meeting, the PTI founder did not even ask his sister about her health.
